It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved Dad passed away at home on Thursday 25th January 2024, surrounded by love and whanau. 
 
Cherished and loved “Dear” of Jillian. Loving Dad of Tia & Nui, Willie, Julie & Ryan, Paul & Louise, and Lewis & Elia. Special Dad to Jade & Sylvanah.  Adored Papa by all of his Mokopuna.  Treasured Brother to Tangi, Trevor, Allen, and Maria. A loyal and great friend to many. 
 
Dad will lie at home, 84 Campbell Street until Saturday January 27, 2024. Family & friends are welcome to come and pay their respects. On Saturday morning Dad will lie at Kihitu Marae. Service will be held on Sunday at 12pm before Dad’s final journey to Takitimu Urupā.
 
Kua hinga te Tōtara i te waonui-a-tāne. E tangi ana te ngakau, Māringi noa ngā roimata.
 
The Totora tree has fallen. It is time to grieve let the tears flow.
