It is with the heaviest of hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful, beloved Vivienne Rose Payne.
After a short but incredibly courageous battle with cancer, our precious Viv peacefully closed her eyes for the final time in Wairoa, surrounded by the unconditional love, warmth and comfort of her whānau.
Deeply loved and irreplaceable Mum of Danielle and Ben, Lachlan and Paige, and her baby Ryver-Fox; and the proud, adoring Nanny of her precious mokopuna, Te Ariki.
Precious daughter of Karina Payne (dec), Stuart Brown, and John Gotty. Much-loved tuakana to her sisters and brothers; treasured niece, aunty, cousin, and friend to her extended whānau and the many people whose lives she touched along her journey.
Viv will lie at Taihoa Marae from Monday afternoon, 19 October, for the duration of her tangihanga.
Tuesday, 20 October: Karakia and poroporoaki will commence at 7.00pm.
Wednesday, 21 October: Her final service will take place at 11.00am, following which she will be laid to rest at Wairoa Cemetery.
