It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mrs Moya Lewis Winiata (née White), aged 91, who peacefully departed on 14 August 2024 surrounded by her family. Her legacy of love, resilience, and wisdom will forever remain in our hearts.

Moya was a woman of quiet strength and determination, living a life marked by grace and perseverance. She deeply valued her family and took great pride in nurturing her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, instilling in them a legacy of love and kindness.

Her gentle wisdom and intuitive understanding provided comfort and guidance to many. Her unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Mother will be taken to Waimako Marae, Lake Road, Tuai, Waikaremoana, for a two-day tangi ceremony. Her final service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, 16 August 2024, before she is laid to rest at Whare Kaponga Cemetery. We invite you to join us in honouring the remarkable life of Moya, a cherished matriarch whose legacy of love and strength will forever inspire us.
