WAIKAWA, Trevor Joseph “Babe”

Passed away peacefully Wednesday 8 February 2023 at Wairoa Hospital, surrounded by his  loving whānau.  

Beloved husband, best and soul mate of Kym. Treasured father to Chelsea, Robert, Harlene and Trevor Jnr.  Dearly loved papa Trev to all his mokopuna. Te Potiki of Te Hei Putiputi (dec) and Robert Ereatara Waikawa (dec). Beloved Brother-in-law, uncle and papa Trev to the Solomon whānau. Loved Uncle and Bro to all his Whakaki whanau

Babe will be leaving Pickerings at approximately 11.30am Thursday 9 February to lie at Whakaki Marae.  He will be laid to rest at Whakaraapaki Urupa on Saturday 11 February following his funeral service at 11am.

A brave and courageous fighter now at rest.
