It is with the deepest heartache that we announce the passing of our Kasey Christian Rotoatara Skipper-King on Saturday 23rd May 2026.
Beloved son of Kathy Skipper-King and Karaitiana Rex King. Cherished brother to Podge and Charles, Tyler and Sa, Gray (dec), Kelly (dec), Jess and Lennox. Loved darling to Amy. A dear cousin, uncle, nephew, moko, and a true bro to many.
Kasey was a loyal and hardworking man who not only lived without fear but carried his heart on his sleeve too. He touched countless lives with his kindness, and his laughter filled our days. His presence will be deeply missed by us all.
Arrangements are currently underway for Kasey to travel to Pickering’s Wairoa tonight.
Kasey will lie at 5 Ruataniwha Road for his first night before proceeding to Takitimu Marae for the remainder of his time with us.

Following the service, Kasey will be laid to rest at Te Kopua Urupā, Airport Road, alongside his siblings and grandparents.
