WINIATA, Thomas William (Tom)
It is with great sadness the Winiata family announce the passing of Tom in his 101st year on Thursday 27 August 2026 at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital Hastings. Loved husband, partner, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. A wonderful uncle to all his nieces and nephews, and friend to many. Tom will lie at his home 252 Frasertown Road, The family welcome people to pay their respects between the times of 1pm-5pm Saturday and Sunday. A funeral service for Tom will be held at St Peters Catholic Church, Wairoa on Monday 31 August 2026 at 11am, followed by a private cremation.
