Beloved daughter of the late Taewha Karamaene Te Hapuku (dec) and Sam Ripia (dec). Mother of Willie, Oriwa, Kaa, Marley, Moana (dec), Natasha, Tamati, Te Haupai and Te Kahu. Grandmother and great grandmother to many more. A loved aunty, cousin, sis, mate to all her whanau and friends who reside in Tauranga, Te Reinga all the way to Winton.

Mum suddenly passed away at Tauranga hospital on Monday and is laying at home at 9 Argyll Road, Greerton, Tauranga. Poroporoaki will commence at 7pm on Thursday 20 July.

At 6am on Friday 21 July, Mum will be taken to Te Waiiti Marae, Ruatahuna for a short service followed by her burial beside her father.

Happily freed from this earthly realm, having soared to the divine world united with her daughter, her mother, her father and all her whanau beyond who await to greet her.
